I decided to add some color to my used MacBook Air I recently bought on eBay and found these cool SeeThru plastic cases that easily snap on and off. They are made by a company called Speck and come in 6 different colors; cranberry (red), diet cola, clear, pink, smoke and purple. The one for the MacBook Air retails for $49.95, but I picked a brand new cranberry-colored one up on eBay for only $9.95. Besides looking great, it also adds protections against scratches on the Air's case.

Now I was a little apprehensive at first about getting one because of heat issue concerns, but I'm happy to report, the Air does not run any hotter. The plastic shell is very thin, extremely lightweight and fits like a glove, exposing heat vents and ports.
