Guy Kawasaki to be feature presenter at Macworld 2010

Kawasaki is a founding partner and entrepreneur-in-residence at Garage Technology Ventures. He is also the co-founder of Alltop.com, an "online magazine rack" of popular topics on the web. Previously, he was an Apple Fellow at Apple Computer. He's the author of eight books including The Art of the Start, Rules for Revolutionaries, How to Drive Your Competition Crazy, Selling the Dream and The Macintosh Way.

He takes center stage at Macworld 2010 with a feature presentation entitled “Revolution from the Rest of Us” on Friday, Feb. 12, at 9 am (Pacific), where he will discuss the current state of innovation and revolution in the tech market, as well as the characteristics of visionaries who drive innovation. Kawasaki will host several developers from the Apple products market who have succeeded in delivering products that are game-changers due to their creative approach to technology design.

“The Apple community gathers at Macworld each year to see ground-breaking technologies," Kawasaki says. "My talk will highlight the best that this market has to offer, and provide valuable lessons to developers who want to stay ahead of the game and users who expect the innovation to continue.”

Kawasaki joins a list of feature presenters that currently includes: filmmaker Kevin Smith; New York Times’ columnist David Pogue; This Week in TECH’s Leo Laporte; DEMO executive producer Matt Marshall; multimedia expert David Biedny; and “Daring Fireball” publisher John Gruber.

Macworld Expo 2010 will take place Feb. 9-13, 2010, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
