iPhone 3G component suppliers to see expanded revenues in the third quarter

With the second gen iPhone launching in 22 countries on July 11, total shipments of 3G iPhones are expected to top 10 million units in the third quarter. What's more, the Chinese language Commercial Times quoted the Morgan Stanley firm as estimating that total shipments of iPhones 3Gs are likely to be as high as 27 million units in 2009 compared to sales of 5.2 million units of the first-generation iPhones in 2007.
