iPhone/iPod apps for Oct. 26

Nanaimo Studio has introduced Idea Organizer 1.0, an US$0.99, free-form note taking and organizer utility for the iPhone and iPod touch. It's designed to let anyone record their ideas, reminders and notes.

Fellowship Technologies has released F1 Touch, a free iPhone app for the Fellowship One church management system. It exhibits the power of the Fellowship One API (application programing interface) for searching for individuals and is fully supported by Fellowship Technologies for all churches with a Fellowship One Account.

The rock band, Alice in Chains, has announced an October 27th release date for the "Black Gives Way to Blue" iPhone app. The app features full songs from the band's new album on Virgin/EMI, music videos, news, photos, social networking and more.

SourceFire, which specializes in cybersecurity solutions, has released a free iPhone app. It features three real-time Sourcefire news feeds, including VRT Updates, VRT Top 10 Malware, and Snort News and is designed "to support the needs of today’s mobile workforce, the iPhone application provides users with the information needed to identify and respond to the most critical cybersecurity threats in real time."

Agrian, an integrated tracking solution, has announced the Agrian Mobile Information Center. It takes the company's agro-chemical compliance label database and provides it on the iPhone/iPod touch platform, giving those involved in crop protection and food safety the ability to access over 3,800 manufacturer approved labels anywhere at anytime.

Volutopia has launched SculptMaster 3D 1.1.0, an update to the $2.99 digital sculpting and painting application for the iPhone and iPod touch. It brings full volumetric sculpting capabilities to mobile devices, allowing artists to experiment and sketch on the go. Using the export features, work can be continued later on a computer.

Press Start has announced 4Notes 1.0 ($1.99), which offers a combination of features that allow users access to their notes from anywhere, including their iPhone/iPod touch, the Internet, and their email. It offers syncing, real-time search, the ability to email notes, and more.

Elements2Dance has released songvoo 1.1, their updated $0.99 iPod music player app for the iPhone and iPod touch. This update adds features such as Facebook integration, shape gestures, 15,000 theme combinations, Intro-Outro skipping, and a streamlined interface.

Vocalia, Creaceed's speech recognition application for the iPhone, is now available in six languages: English, French, German, Dutch, Italian and Spanish.

Steve Glinberg has announced KidCalc 1.6, an update to his $1.99 animated math flash cards and learning game for the iPhone and iPod touch. It helps teach math to children, ages 3-8 years, using Halloween themed graphics, animations and voice-overs by a child. KidCalc is now four apps in one, including animated math flash cards, math drills, counting games, and an animated calculator.

Manayunk Productions says Speed Bag: Urban Gym will soon be available on the Apple App Store. It offers players the chance to experience what it's like to hit a speed bag.
