iPhone/iPod/iPad apps for Feb. 12

Here are the latest iPhone/iPod touch/iPod apps announced. You can find 'em at the Apple App Store (http://www.itunes.com/appstore/).

"The Cat in the Hat" and "Dr. Seuss’s ABC" are now available as interactive eBooks in the Apple App Store for US$3.99 each.

WhosHere, the free iPhone app that lets you meet and interact with people nearby, now enables users to place their profile anywhere in the world for 24 hours at a time with the latest version (2.2) This geo-casting feature enables users to meet users in other cities or countries, practice foreign language skills with native speakers, and get tips from locals on what to do in advance of a "real" trip.

Blue Atlas Technology has released version 1.2 of Tango and Tango-Lite. Both versions are now available worldwide in 14 languages. Tango Lite is free and offers basic remote control for your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad while the full version ($2.99) offers enhanced functionality.
