lynda.com, an online training provider of computer skills education for consumers, businesses and schools, has released s first version of the lynda.com iPhone app. It provides access to training videos that teach digital photography, graphic design, web and interactive design, business, applications, 3D, audio, and much more. The app is free to both lynda.com members and non-members. Members have access to all 45,000+ movies in the Online Training Library, and non-members can sample thousands of training tutorials for free.

Camera Plus Pro is an US$1.99 all-in-one camera app with video recording capabilities for iPhone 2G, 3G and 3GS. The video recording capability enables users to record high-quality videos on their iPhone and share them on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

iPhonky has unleashed Pidgey 1.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch users. In the $0.99 game, players must fly Pidgey all over town, feeding him tasty bugs and keeping him safe from Vinnie, the hungry vulture. The more insects ingested, the faster the pigeon goes, which is crucial to his safety.

Oniric Games has produced Crunchy Planets 1.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch. In the $0.99 you help Snackie, a crazy-looking space creature, eat as many planets as you can while avoiding obstacles and collecting power-ups.

Rearden Commerce has announced the public launch of its Mobile Personal Assistant application for the iPhone. The free app offers access to flight alerts, detailed itinerary information, weather forecasts, flight search capabilities, interactive mapping, dining reservations and car service bookings.

OutOfTheBit has shipped Vintage Drum 1.0 for iPhone and iPod touch devices. It's a $0.99 music app with the sounds of the "most important electronic drums of the latest 30 years." The sounds are sampled directly from the original drum machines and let you recreate the same rhythms of the electronic drums used by Prince, Sting, Run DMC, Phil Collins and more.

SpaFinder has launched a free iPhone app that allows users to find nearby spas and deals, check the real-time availability of appointments, and book a reservation instantly.

Steve Glinberg has unveiled 123 Color by KidCalc, a companion app to his top ranked math learning game for the iPhone and iPod touch. It's a $0.99 coloring book designed to teach numbers, upper and lower case letters, shapes and colors in multiple languages as kids play.

Awhato has released Is It Me?! 1.2 for iPhone and iPod touch users. The $0.99 application mirrors half the face in a photo to produce a new image. As each side of a person's face is different, the resulting composite shows what a person would look like if both sides were identical.

Limited Securities has announced iCurrency Plus 1.0.1 for iPhone and iPod Touch users. The $1.99 app tracks and evaluates currency exchange rates, as well as provides trends, graphs and a currency conversion calculator.

Global Delight is offering Camera Plus Pro 2.0 for iPhone devices. The $1.99 app features the ability to record videos on the iPhone 2G, 3G and 3GS. It also has photo capture, edit and sharing features.

Art & Mobile has announced QuadCamera 2.3.0 for iPhone and iPod touch devices. The $0.99 multi-shoot iPhone camera app can now can post animated GIFs to Twitter. By using the QuadCam, you can take 4-8 sequential pictures with retro effects.
