Transparent Language has announced Byki Irish for the iPhone and iPod touch. The free app comes with more than 1,000 words and phrases, including some special words and phrases for St. Patrick’s Day.

Aspen Publishers (http://www.aspenpublishers.com) now offers new Multistate Bar Exam content for the iPhone and iPod touch®, transforming the popular Emanuel Bar Review series into digital resources for Bar Exam study and making it easier for busy law students to study wherever they need to.

The Groupon shopping web site has launched a free app for the iPhone and iPod touch With it, users can buy, redeem and organize their purchases.

Glu Mobile, a publisher of mobile games, has launched How to Train Your Dragon: Flight of the Night Fury for the iPhone and iPod touch. The $2.99 game is based on the upcoming DreamWorks Animation film, "How To Train Your Dragon," which will be released in theaters on March 26.

Poscitech has shipped Fitaide Lite 1.0, the free version of Fitaide, for the iPhone or iPod touch. The lite version retains the core features of Fitaide, but can be run for a maximum of 30 minutes per session. Fitaide is designed to help you shape up by "enabling users to discover high energy activities they can integrate into their lifestyles, leading to a sustainable change in their overall activity level."

Sorenson Communications, a provider of Video Relay Service (VRS) for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals who use sign language to communicate, has announced its Video Center App is now available on the Apple App Store for free. The Sorenson Video Center App will empower Sorenson VRS® (SVRS®) users to access their Video Center content, including SignMail messages and videos, on their iPhone or and iPod touch anytime, anywhere, without using an ASL interpreter.

Technical Made Easy has unfolded Easy Quilt 1.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch. The $2.99 app provides step-by-step instruction with video based lessons on every aspect of quilt making, with over 100 different block ideas and all the tools you need to get started right away.

Namco Networks has launched Pool Pro Online 3, the first of a series of games using UniteSDK, the company's’s proprietary technology that provides cross-platform play. Developed by Order of Magnitude, Namco’s newly-named internal Apple development team, the game is currently available for $4.99 on Apple’s App Store. Pool Pro Online 3 gives pool fans an opportunity to play friends online anywhere in the world in 8-ball, 9-ball and Snooker.

Gowalla, a location-based social networking service, has released Gowalla 2.0 on the iPhone 3G and 3GS platforms. The company has also updated its SXSW mini-site that details all of the SXSW initiatives the company will be rolling out, including: real world rewards, competitions, challenges and events. SintraWorks has updated Metron, their $2.99 professional digital metronome for iPhone and iPod touch users, to version 2.0. It offers a playback engine and a bar based sequencer to provide control over tempo settings and time signatures, including mixed meters, accelerandos and ritardandos. Version 2.0 adds a redesigned user interface, copy/paste and customizable rhythmic subdivisions of the beat.
