iPhone/iPod/iPad apps for March 12

Here are the latest iPhone/iPod touch/iPod/iPad apps announced. You can find 'em at the Apple App Store (http://www.itunes.com/appstore/).

Pariahware has released Biblicious 1.0, a $2.99 game for the iPhone and iPod touch. Players can choose a single player game, a practice game, or a fill in the blank game, called Mix and Match. The player can choose from a 10 question game to a 50 question game, as well as questions from the Old or New Testaments, or the entire Bible. After a game mode is chosen, Flip Ant will ask you the number of questions you wish to play, and from where in the Bible you'd like the questions to originate.

Techno Gurus has announced iBrr Bluetooth Receiver and Remote 1.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch. This is an $4.99 app that uses peer-to-peer networking via WiFi or Bluetooth technology to transform an iDevice into a remote control.

Marco De Girolamo has shipped LabelMenu 1.0 for iPhone and iPod touch devices. The database of the $4.99 app includes 1,500 international dishes, classified in 19 categories, translated in four languages, completed with ingredients, description and a photo.

Capsulated Software has launched Cue.Play.DJ. 1.0, a $9.99 DJing solution ever created for the iPhone OS platform. Created with feedback from DJ/Producer Ferry Corsten, April will see Capsulated and Ferry launch a worldwide promotional campaign centered around his weekly radio show, Corsten's Countdown, and the newly launched podcast of this show.

Cogniflame has released StarHunt 1.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch devices. It's a $1.99 adventure game where players search for glowing stars scattered throughout a large pre-rendered 3D house.

SMEStorage is offering its iSMEStorage iPhone app ($0.99) that lets users access and manage over 10 storage clouds from their iPhone in one Cloud file view. Clouds from which files can be viewed and managed include Amazon S3, RackSpace CloudFiles, Box, Apple Mobile Me, Microsoft SkyDrive, Microsoft Live Mesh, Gmail-as-a-cloud, Email-as-a-Cloud, FTP-as-a-Cloud, Google Docs, and WebDav enabled clouds.

Rattan Joea, CEO of Prime Time Shuttle, has announced a new, free iPhone app. It enables users to book transportation reservations anywhere in the country.

Small Wonders has added more unlockable content to Battle of Puppets 1.2.2, their $0.99 linear strategy game for the iPhone and iPod touch.

Renditions Design is offering Magic Card 2.0.1 for iPhone devices. The $2.99 app uses a real deck of cards and the iPhone's camera to create the illusion that the Apple device comes with the power to see through cards.

On5 Games has unleashed Quizarium 1.01 for the iPhone and iPod touch. The free app is an answer-the-question game in which you can play on your own or compete against others.

Rocking Pocket Games has announced Puppet Jump 3D 1.2, an update of the $0.99 iPhone/iPod game that's a cross between Little Big Planet and Doodle Jump for the iPhone. It challenges players to jump on platforms as high as they can without falling, while collecting Puppet Points that can be used to customize your character and unlock new background scenes.

Pure Square Go has introduced Chromixa 1.1.1, an update to their $1.99 puzzle game for iPhone and iPod touch users. Like a jigsaw of light, your goal is to arrange the shapes to fill an outline with a single color. You arrange colored shapes of light to complete puzzles. Primary colors of red, green and blue are rotated, positioned and overlaid to create new tones as shapes overlap.

Zero Emission Games has introduced Short Order Cook 2.0, an update of the $0.99 game from their Food for Thought collection that challenges players' skills of recognition, concentration and trains their memory. At the outset of each level a food image on a kitchen ticket and its matching tile are revealed for a short time. Once the tiles are flipped over, the challenge is to memorize the location of the matching pairs as quickly and as precise as possible.
