Known as Delayed Audio Feedback, this effect can be so confusing that the speaker becomes dazed, according to the folks at Ivanovich.

ALK Technologies has unveiled CoPilot Live 220.127.116.111, the latest updates to their $29.99 GPS navigation apps for iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS devices. It now includes improved guidance at complex intersections, Facebook status updates, free local search, and the latest maps of North America. More than 15,000 miles of roads have been added, 73 completely updated counties and hundreds of map improvements submitted by the CoPilot Live User Community.
