iPhone/iPod/iPad apps for March 31

Here are the latest iPhone/iPod touch/iPod/iPad apps announced. You can find 'em at the Apple App Store (http://www.itunes.com/appstore/).

"It's About Time Products" has announced mini apps -- an iPad application which allows you to access and utilize multiple "mini apps" with different, customizable types of information. It will be available soon at a special launch price of $0.99.

Digital comic book distributor and software provider iVerse Media has unveiled the latest version of iVerse Comics. The free app will run on iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad devices. Long time users of iVerse Comics will have the ability to download new, high resolution, iPad files of their previously in-app-purchased comics at no additional cost.

Onederr has released SF Way 1.0 for iPhone and iPod touch users who live in or visit San Francisco.The app (free for a limited time) is packed with information about city-specific places, happenings and services.

Mello Apps Limited has introduced Halal Scanner 1.0 for iPhone. The $1.99 app takes a photo of the ingredients label of a food product and determines the halal status of any food additives contained in the product. Users also have the option of searching through a database of food additives on the iPhone instead of using the iPhone camera. This is done entirely on the iPhone and no network connection is required for any of the features in Halal Scanner.

AppFury has unleashed MIDITowninmypocket, a free iPhone/iPod touch provides information and directions to and around numerous areas of interest in Manhattan including Times Square, Madison Ave, 5th Ave, the Theatre District, Rockefeller Center, and Grand Central Station.

WildFuse is offering AR Easter Egg Hunt 1.0 for iPhone 3GS devices. Aimed at kids, former kids and parents, this $0.99 is based on a traditional custom in many countries all over the world consisting of picking hidden eggs around Easter time.

HeavyLifters Network has announced MathTappers: ClockMaster 2.0, an upgrade to their $0.99 children's game for the iPhone and iPod touch. Math educators Tim Pelton and Leslee Francis-Pelton from the University of Victoria have designed this app to help children make sense of analog clocks and time. MathTappers: ClockMaster also has a "word clock" mode to help children and English language learners to master common English word phrases for telling time.

Scott Bedwell has released My DJ 2.0 as a free update to all current My DJ owners, and a free version of the app called My DJ Free, both for iPhone and iPod touch. My DJ offers a new way of listening to music by playing random parts of the user's songs rather than playing whole songs at once. Users can specify how long of each song to play in the settings of their device. For new users the cost is $1.99.

Informatica Kamalert SL has unveiledAPP KamAlert 1.01, the latest version of their $4.99 security app for iPhone users. It has a built-in motion detector surveillance camera, automatically sends for help and provides panic buttons for medical emergencies or imminent danger.

SMEStorage has introduced iSMEStorage 1.02, an update to the $0.99 Cloud Storage virtualization application for the iPhone. It enables users to play iPhone supported music and videos from any of the 10 Storage clouds supported as well as access, manage, share, and sync their cloud data. Version 1.02 supports direct uploading of video files, including Amazon S3, RackSpace CloudFiles, Microsoft Live SkyDrive and Live Mesh, and Google Docs.
