iPhone/iPod/iPad apps for March 4

Here are the latest iPhone/iPod touch/iPod/iPad apps announced. You can find 'em at the Apple App Store (http://www.itunes.com/appstore/).

Vlingo has launched a new iPhone app that allows users to send voice-powered emails and text messages. You simply speak and send. Unlike speech recognition apps that offer a single use only, Vlingo delivers up to six voice-powered features including: email, SMS Paste, social site updates, maps and voice dial. The Vlingo for iPhone app is free and includes voice dial, search, maps, Facebook and Twitter update functionality. The new email and SMS Paste messaging features can be added to the app for US$6.99 each, or both for only $9.99.

Ratrod Studio, with the collaboration of pro skateboarder Mike Vallely, has shipped Mike V: Do or Die. This skateboard video game costs $4.99.

Mindwarm has released SwipSwap 3.0, an update of the free iPhone/iPod touch app for sharing contact information. It offers in-person, group contact exchange using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth peer-to-peer technology.

Eurocenter has announced Cocoto Magic Circus 1.0 for iPhone and iPod touch. In the $0.99 game, a mysterious and evil clown has kidnapped Pixie, the pretty fairy. It's your mission to aid Cocoto and his friends in a pursuit to save Pixie, but the rescue team has found itself trapped inside an evil circus.

Pure Concepts has announced PocketBracket 2.0 for iPhone, iPod touch, and Android powered devices. The $1.99 app allows you to create unlimited brackets, organize pools, and follow the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

Houdah Software has unveiled ACTPrinter 1.6 for the iPhone and iPod touch. The $0.99 app takes the paper out of electronic tickets, boarding passes, and more.

The V Phone, an $11.99 mobile VoIP and SMS app for the iPhone now supports VoIP over 3G and on WiFi using the G729 codec. The V Phone is a mobile SIP client or softphone for the iPhone for making internet calls over wifi or 3G. The mobile VoIP app also enables users to send text messages or SMS's not through your wireless carriers but through the Internet.
