



To use it, hook up your iRecord to a DVD player, VCR, TV, STB or any other analog video source, press iRecord’s record button and a show will record directly to your iPod or PSP. You can now playback the recorded contents on your favorite portable media player with no other steps involved, according to the folks at iSkins. You can also record your video gaming sessions or walk-throughs on USB flash devices including your iPod or PSP directly.  You can be playing on your favorite gaming console such as PS2® or on a PC.

The iRecord uses art patent-pending compression techniques to offer three hours of video/audio recording per gigg. It uses H.264/AVC for video encoding and AAC for audio encoding. Music only recording is supported by MP3 audio compression to be compatible with a wide variety of MP3 players.

The iRecord supports NTSC, PAL and SECAM video standards. It charges your iPod when connected. iRecord firmware can be updated through its USB port whenever new product features are made available. Also, the iRecord package includes a power adapter and audio/video cables.
