iTunes 7.7 released -- and a 'heads-up' item you should know about

Rogers[/url], who writes a Mac column for the Bangkok Post, gave Macsimum News a heads-up that some people will not have noticed with the new iTunes: the shop now comes to some 62 countries. Most of them, however, won't be able to buy any music, but this is clearly a way round the problems that some had when the iPod touch was last updated (January).

"My particular area is Thailand, and in SE Asia there are now stores in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam," Rogers says. "While some of these are not expecting the iPhone any time soon officially, the touch is available and so, now, are the applications to run on it."
