



Among operating systems, Windows had 89.62 percent market share in November. That compares to 90.46 percent for October.
Safari rose from 6.57 percent to 7.13 percent. When it comes to browsers, in November Internet Explorer had 69.77 percent and Firefox 20.78 percent. That compares to 71.27 percent and 19.97 percent for October, respectively.
The iPhone is also on the rise. Its version of Safari has had .37 percent in November compared to .33 percent for October.
Net Applications' monthly surveys don't measure market share in terms of computer systems sold. Instead they sample data from visitors to some 40,000 web sites operated by their clients.
