2] - Yale MUG: Writing iPhone Apps

On September 2, the Yale Macintosh User's Group will host a special back-to-school meeting. What better way to start a new semester than by learning how to write iPhone apps. Dan Lopez and Jay Weiss manage to run a group with no membership dues and high user interest, and they expect September's meeting will be one of the best.

Learn with the best.

The Dutch word for core is klokhuis and the AUG Klokhuis user group is the core of all things Apple in the Netherlands. On September 12, they will sponsor their next "AppleDay," a popular event regularly hosted by Klokhuis.

Along with the normal program (meeting point, lectures, wireless network, workshops etc.) Apple Dag offers a tombola with fantastic prizes.

Check it out.

4] - Save the Date: 16th MCE from NCMUG

This year's North Coast Mac Users Group (NCMUG) will host their annual Mac Computer Expo (MCE) on October 3 at the Petaluma Commmunity Center in Petaluma, California. In 1991, approximately 300 people attended the first MCE. With each year, the number of vendors, sponsors and attendees has grown, and this year's event will see more than 1,000 attendees. Shouldn't you be there too?

Save the date!
