CaterEdge

Food Cost Manager

It provides features for inventory control, purchasing, recipe and menu management. When you’re ready to place orders, you can automatically generate purchase orders. Another key feature is Food Cost Manager’s ideal usage report. Using this report, you can compare actual inventory usage to ideal usage based on your recipes. This allows you to identify problem areas with processes, or shrinkage. Food Cost Manager works with Mac OS X.

Meal Planning

The user inputs names and ingredients of menu items, together with the number of people these ingredients will feed. The user can then select menu items for events and input the number of people to feed each menu item. Meal Planning prepares lists of ingredients for each event and a consolidated shopping list. The program includes hundreds of default ingredients and you can add your special ingredients. Data is saved/reloaded automatically. Meal Planning is Mac OS X compatible.

Sixth Sense Cafe

[url=]Sixth Sense Cafe[/url] lets you use your Mac or PC to place orders, print guests checks, keep track of employees hours, report on all activities in your restaurant and keep track of your inventory. You can print to a maximum of 12 printers for orders. This allows automatic printing to the hot kitchen, cold kitchen, bar, station and anywhere else you like. Sixth Sense Cafe can print checks in three formats: everything on one check, one check with each guests order itemized or a separate check for everyone. This can be done at any time, you don't have to do know at the beginning of the order.
