Control System Toolbox

Toolbox functions enable you to convert between these model representations and time forms and compute and graph LTI system time responses, frequency responses, and root loci.

It has a wide selection of procedures: descriptive statistics, GLM ANOVA, regression (including multiple regression and nonlinear regression), analysis of frequency data, non-parametric tests, etc. CoStat's spreadsheets can contain different types of data (floating point, integer, date, time, degrees, string, etc.) and can have any number of rows and columns.

This extension allows analytical or iterative fitting of predefined or user defined equations to data that has been recorded as a function of time.

[url=http://www.mathworks.com/]Database Toolbox[/url] is a MATLAB add-on that enables data exchange between MATLAB and any ODBC/JDBC-compliant database. It includes a Visual Query Builder that facilities query of stored data without need to learn SQL.

It was conceived with Earth sciences in mind, but can be extended to plotting of any type of data within triangular plots. With it, you can choose to plot your data within a set of pre-installed standard ternary diagrams, but you can also create your own diagrams.

Data values are transformed to a specified axes system and can be saved in ASCII format.

Dynamic Visualizer for Mathematica

All transformations can be programmed or performed interactively. Using Mathematica's MathLink protocol, objects created in Mathematica are displayed in Dynamic Visualizer where they can be scaled, rotated, and textured. Dynamic Visualizer works with all standard Mathematica graphics commands such as ParametricPlot3D, Plot3D, and Graphics3D. Objects can be rendered as wire frames or as flat or smooth Gouraud shade.

EnLiten allows communication of high-end visualizations in application areas such as: computational fluid dynamics (CFD), finite element analysis (FEA), crash and safety analysis, aerodynamics, astrophysics, chemical processing and scientific visualization.

Experimental Data Assistant
[url=http://www.wolfram.com/]Experimental Data Analyst[/url] provides a set of detailed programs and packages for the fitting, visualization and error analysis of experimental data. Extensive error analysis capabilities handle errors in both coordinates of the data, obtain estimated errors in the fit parameters, and examine graphical information about the fit, including residuals of the fit. Data can be fit to linear or arbitrary models. Users can fit data to lines or curves when one or more of the data points may be "wild" and the least-squares technique cannot be used.

Filter Design Toolbox

It extends the capabilities of the Signal Processing Toolbox by adding filter architectures and design methods for complex real-time DSP applications, including adaptive and multirate filtering. The Filter Design Toolbox also provides functions that simplify the design of fixed-point filters and the analysis of quantization effects.

[url=http://www.wolfram.com]Fuzzy Logic[/url] is a set of tools for creating, modifying, and visualizing fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic-based systems. Designed for engineers, researchers, and educators, it introduces the user to basic concepts of fuzzy logic and demonstrate how to apply the tools in the package to a wide variety of fuzzy system design tasks.

Gmsh is built around four modules: geometry, mesh, solver and post-processing. The specification of any input to these modules is done either interactively using the graphical user interface or in ASCII text files using Gmsh's own scripting language.
