Daneismos

Daneismos is library management software which works with any SQL Database (mySQL recommended).

Endnote

Endnote is a Mac-first bibliographic database program. The EndNote Viewer provides a way to view references in EndNote databases (called libraries), without having the actual EndNote Plus program. With the EndNote Viewer, you can browse EndNote libraries, search for specific information, and even print or export the references that you need. The EndNote Viewer is a limited version of the EndNote Plus program.

Library Books

Library Books is an application for keeping track of the library books you have borrowed. It will work with libraries using most of the popular catalog systems.

Library Pro

Library Pro is a library automation system that gives librarians the ability to:customize collections for special student projects; assign MARC records to websites and multi-media documents; manage documents like other resource materials; view available resources throughout the entire district.

You can automatically synchronize critical student and staff demographic data into Library Pro from your Mac School or Win School database, which allows you to eliminate duplicate data entry and improve the accuracy of your database. Library Pro’s administrative functions manage circulation, reports, patron management, serials and acquisitions.

Library 4

The Library 4 software package (L4U) from Kelowna Software bundles all the basic library functions --acquisitions, serials, cataloguing, circulation, and online public access -- in one, fully integrated, cross platform package.

The L4U Centralized Advanced Bookings Module purportedly offers librarians features and power previously only available for large college or university applications. Shipping lists, copy management, visual calendars, pick lists, authority control and automatic shipping labels are just a few of the standard features available in this module. Central Resource Centers allows you to specify shipping days, holiday management, and Globally Circulate records with the single click of a button.

Library World

Library World is a library automation system based on standard MARC format. The Bronze Edition features a catalog database program for creating, importing, exporting and reporting on a database with either full or brief MARC record, and it supports printing of AACR2 cards, spine labels and bar code labels. The Silver Edition also incorporates a circulation system which handles patron records. The Gold Edition adds serials control and acquisition functions, as well as a digital document management module. It incorporates vendor records, prints purchase orders, generates claims, and automatically maintains budgets.

Readerware

Readerware will automatically catalog a library. Scan in a bar code, and Readerware does the rest, searching the Internet and cataloging books, including cover art, in its SQL database. There's also an AW version for cataloging a CD collection and a VW version for cataloging a video collection.

SmartMARC

SmartMARC is a cross platform (Macintosh and Windows), industry-standard cataloguing tool used to locate full MARC records, update them, and save them directly into any library automation system that supports standard MARC/MicroLIF records.

Winnebago

Winnebago is a cross-platform client/server library system that supports both cataloging of the collection and circulation and a range of reports. It has standard and custom indexing and the ability for the collection's catalog to be accessed on the Internet.
