IP Monitor

[url=http://www.skytouch.com/]IP Monitor[/url] is an application that displays the current IP network (or subnet mask) address of your Mac on your desktop. With IP Monitor, you won't need to open the TCP/IP (or MacTCP) control panel to view your Macintosh's IP address. Additionally, IP Monitor allows you to copy the current IP network (or subnet mask) address to the clipboard, where it can be pasted directly to most applications and documents. There's also IP Monitor for Java.

IP Self

IP Sender

Ipanema

IPGadget

[url=http://www.lgosys.com/]IPGadget[/url] is a small calculator for verifying IPv4 address information.

IPNetTuner & IPNetTunerX

[url=http://www.sustworks.com/]IPNetTunerX[/url] allows you to optimize network performance under Mac OS X (and Mac OS 9/Classic) by tuning internal TCP/IP parameters to match your network environment. IPNetTunerX includes a basic view with selectable presets, and an advanced view with over 50 adjustable parameters organized by category along with brief descriptions and extensive help. Beyond adjusting parameters, IPNetTunerX provides tools for measuring the effect of your changes, and a Location Helper to make dynamic configuration easier.

IPObserver

IServeBox

iStumber

[url=http://www.istumbler.net/]iStumberl[/url] is a software tool for locating wireless networks and Bluetooth devices.

iTattle

[url=http://www.whimsplucky.com]]iTattle[/url], exclusively for Mac OS X 10.4 or later, places network information for an AirPort Extreme, and built-in Ethernet, as well as System information on your desktop. It's useful in helping administrators gather system information.

Kasumi Dempa

Lighthouse

Both NAT/PMP (Apple Airport base stations) and UPnP (D-Link, Linksys, Netgear) protocols are supported. Port forwardings are frequently necessary for tools such as instant messengers, file-sharing utilities and other networked applications that are run from behind a NAT gateway (read: a home network router).

LinkUp

LITHIUM Network Monitoring Platform

The Little Dutch Moose

Little Snitch

When an application tries to establish a network connection, Little Snitch intercepts the attempt and brings up an alert panel giving you all the connection details including the name of the application, which initiated the connection. You either choose to allow the connection, to deny it or to add a permanent rule for similar future connections.

Location X

MyNet

MySecureShell

Net Monitor

[url=http://homepage.mac.com/rominar/net.html]Net Monitor[/url] graphs and logs network traffic of local and remote computers and controls PPP connections. It's customizable and can graph a histogram of network activity in a floating window, the Dock, the Menu Bar or in a regular window.

NetBoot Across Subnets

NetLocationX

NetSpeedometer

NetSupport Manager

Network Statistics Dockling

NetworkLocation

ntop

[url=http://www.ntop.org/]ntop[/url] is a utility that displays network usage; it acts as a web server and creates an HTML file of network status.

pearPortVPN

[url=http://www.pearworks.com/]pearPortVPN[/url] allows you to automatically establish a specific VPN connection whenever a wireless network of choice becomes available. It can also automatically disconnect any open connections before your Mac falls asleep to prevent an annoying error messages about timed out connections when your Mac wakes up again.

phpCrystal

[url=http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpchrystal/]phyCrystal[/url] is an open source-intranet system designed to be used at LAN parties. The advantages of phpChrystal are its portability, flexibility and performance, since it is completely based on PHP, MySQL and XML.

PortFinder

Pukka

[url=http://codesorcery.net/]Pukka[/url] is an utility for posting to del.icio.us.
