NetFinder 3 is a complete re-write from ground up using the latest technologies offered in Mac OS X, according to the folks at Ortabe. Some of the new features include: the ability to label and add comments (like the Finder) to any file or folder on remote servers; the ability to undo accidental actions like moving, renaming and duplicating; the ability to visually filter hierarchical file listings; the ability to create dynamic self contained filterable mirror reports; the ability to transfer files and folders from any server to any other server by dragging and dropping from one window to another; user extensible automation components that allow complex actions to be performed on remote files with a single mouse click.
NetFinder 3 offers the ability to browse remote servers in a multi-window (or single window if preferred) interface like the Finder. It requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.
NetFinder 3 is available for US$35 per seat. A fully functional trial version can be download from the Ortabe web site. Discount upgrade pricing is available for registered users of NetFinder 2.x and 1.x. Additionally, users who purchased NetFinder 2 on or after Dec. 1, 2007, qualify for a free upgrade to NetFinder 3.
