



iPod touches can now be charged anywhere under the sun by simply being attached to a Solar Surge. Users can charge while walking, running, hiking, or biking, says Ian Dorfman, president of Novothink. "
Along with the custom designed and engineered charger case that includes solar panels that provide continuous charging from the sun, Solar Surge also includes a USB 2.0 cable that's compatible with standard USB charging ports to provide high capacity charging and data exchange.
Available in a variety of colors, Solar Surge for iPod Touch is priced at US$69.95 and will be available at major retailers at the end of September. The company will also be releasing the Solar Surge for iPhone 3G and 3GS in the fourth quarter.
