The Silicon Case does a fine job of protecting the touch's body. However, a screen protector of some sort would also have been very useful. In fact, with the touch's large screen I think that ANY case for the device should offer some sort of screen protection. In any case, the case comes in charcoal (my favorite), white and pink.

The Classic Case ($37) -- not to be confused with the Classic Case for the iPod class -- is custom designed to fit the exact specifications of the iPod touch. It provides the same protection as that of a leather case.
The Classic Case -- designed as an alternative to leather -- sports a magnetic clasp closure, so it does protect the iPod touch screen. However, you have to open it to fully access the iPod's screen and controls. If I'm going to do that, I'd prefer a case with a "kickstand" so I could prop up the touch for video viewing.
