



What's more, Apple co-founder Steve "Woz" Wozniak is on the the company's board of directors. Also on the board is Ellen Hancock, who was chief technology officer of Apple from July 1996 to July 1997.

Ripcord has self-funded development of several technologies and licensed others. The company says it has agreements with customers and distribution partners which will be announced soon.
The company says its Ripcod CANOPY is the first operating system developed specifically for government and enterprise VoIP products. The company "envisions a family of products based upon a powerful operating system with patent-pending features to address Enterprise class fixed-mobile network productivity tools."
