SiteGrinder 3.0 adds Commerce and Control optional add-ons, more

Media Lab has released SiteGrinder 3.0 (http://www.medialab.com/sitegrinder/overview.php) , an update of its web site production plug-in for Adobe Photoshop, which lets you build a web site via the addition of one-word hints, such as "rollover" or "menu," to the names of layers in a Photoshop design file. Its developers say it sports over 300 new features and supports two new optional add-ons: Commerce and Control.

The SiteGrinder 3 Commerce add-on builds web stores with a fully-integrated shopping cart from within Photoshop. Users can now create online stores with shopping carts from image galleries using Photoshop text and art layers. After publishing their store to the web, users can edit products, pricing, images and descriptions remotely using any web browser.

The SiteGrinder 3 Control add-on enables web site content management from any Internet-connected computer through a web browser. The designer/developer (or client) can change any site content including page additions, text, images and galleries remotely from any web browser, all without returning to Photoshop.

SiteGrinder can generate styled and scrolling Web text, rollover buttons, pop-ups, and multi-level menus from both graphics and text. It replicates character and paragraph styles from your text layers to styled Web text. SiteGrinder uses "100 percent approved CSS formatting," according to the folks at Media Lab.

SiteGrander is compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 and above and Photoshop 7.0 or higher. SiteGrinder 3 will be released and generally available starting March 29, following Photoshop World Orlando. Media Lab has several special offers for SiteGrinder 2 customers and those who want to pre-purchase SiteGrinder 3. Pre-release orders will be downloadable on March 29.

Terra Noctis: Free Dreaming Promises Ple...
When I first played Terra Noctis, I came away with an incredibly positive opinion. Sure it had its share of problems. In fact, it had a ton of small ones. However it was still a cool platformer that was well worth the somewhat hefty (comparably) price of $2.99 at the time. The cost has dropped down to $0.99 since then, but even that might be “too... | Read more »
