SonicMood 'moods' now available at MP3s

SonicMood is a US$12.95 background mood enhancing program created for Mac OS X. It “bathes you in gentle tones” played by selected instruments to calm and relax you while you work on your computer. There are 28 different “moods” -- sets of instruments (bells, crystals, kalimbas, glockenspiels, etc.), musical scales, and timings -- to listen to. You can add your own moods or edit the existing moods.

Bit Of Paradise Products has recently created a web domain for each of its 28 moods; each of these web sites plays a five minute soundtrack when the mood is visited. From each mood website, both the 30 and 120 minute MP3 for that mood may be purchased.

imageSonicMood 4.8.6 has re-factored several major components of SonicMood to reduce the code size a bit. It also changes the way Soundfiles and Scene files are handled, improves the drag and drop behavior for the moods and Soundfiles list, and adds a separator between the Scales and the Patterns lists. The Time Of Day window is now resizable, and the Time of Day minimum play time and repeat interval settings are remembered.

SonicMood 4.8.6 is a free update for registered users of SonicMood. A fully-functioning demo version is available at the downloads page of the SonicMood web site. The software requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher. The 30-minute MP3s are $1.69 and the 1200minute ones are $3.49.
