According to Tapatap President and Chief Technical Officer the iPhone compliments Tapatap by:
° Offering browsing capabilities and a large display for voting on high-quality photos. Users can browse through the hundreds of contests available on Tapatap and vote with simple taps on the iPhone's touch screen display.
° Providing a 2-megapixel camera and fully featured e-mail capabilities, so users can take photos on the go and submit them into Tapatap contests without a computer.
° Connecting users to an integrated touch screen keyboard that allows creation, participation, and sharing of contests. Users can tap messages to each other, and post comments about their favorite contests.
Tapatap can be accessed from virtually any device including mobile phones, web browsers, and embedded flash widgets on social networking sites. Members can create contests and submit photos from both their phones and computers.
To celebrate the release of Tapatap on the iPhone, the company is running the "I Wanna Win an iPhone" contest. Tapppers can enter an original photo or artwork showing why they should win the new iPhone, with the creator of the most popular entry winning an iPhone of their own. The contest ends Aug. 15 at 11:59 pm (Pacific).
