The article says that the publishers include McGraw-Hill, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt K-12, which is a unit of Education Media & Publishing Group Ltd.; Pearson PLC's Pearson Education, and Washington Post Co.'s Kaplan Inc., known for its test-prep and study guides. Many developers and publishers are purportedly working on applications that will work on the iPad and other digital devices.
ScrollMotion makes the Iceberg Reader, an electronic book reader for the iPhone. It supports full color content, pagination, adjustable text sizes, notes, search, a book shelf, in-app purchasing, copy/pate, sharing, book navigation and "Got Chapter" and "Go to Page" features.
