



Files can be selected and edited by dragging and dropping items onto the application and dock icons. File creator and type codes can be modified more quickly than in previous versions. The new search function allows you to search for files based on their metadata, which can then be saved, retrieved and stored in an external format to share between users.
The music renamer allows users to select music files via drag and drop and configure their own file name based on the music file metadata. Users can choose from a dozen preconfigured templates or create their own. The custom icon creator also allows users to select files via drag and drop.
License codes can now be purchased within the application. File Sheriff costs US$9.95, though version 2.0.5 is a free update for registered users. A free 14-day trial is available for download.
