Veodia releases Mac OS X broadcasting plug-in

This feature makes it possible for those operating in a Mac environment -- such as university professors, publishers, bloggers and creative departments -- to create video content using their current systems. In addition, content produced with Veodia can now be viewed via Veodia Widgets that are created and sit on any web site, be it a blog, company home page or corporate dashboard.

Mac OS users can now broadcast high quality live and on-demand video with nothing more than their built-in iSight or an external camcorder, and experience the same easy-to-use service Veodia already offers on the Windows platform, says Guillaume Cohen, CEO and founder of Veodia. The company's early commitment to MPEG-4/h.264 has allowed our users to create TV quality video that plays on everything, he added.
