Video looks at Art Authority on the iPad

Open Door Networks (http://www.opendoor.com) has posted a video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sqb1T5WERos) looking at its Art Authority app for the iPad.

Art Authority is an US$9.99 app that offers a collection of works by over 1,000 of the western world's major artists, from ancient times to today. It offers detailed captions on the works, including title, date and location; multiple levels of organization including by artist name, period, movement and date; and overviews of major works by period.

The app also includes signature features of the company's Envi app line, such as full-screen slide shows, insightful thumbnail overviews, Ken Burns motion effect and access to information on artists and periods. The app focuses on western painting and sculpture from pre-history to present-day, for education, reference and entertainment.
