What do you want in the next iMac?

The AppleInsider report has little details (or speculation/rumors) about what a revamped iMac might be like. Here's what their report says: "People familiar with the matter say the Cupertino-based Mac maker has called upon its award-winning design chief Jonathan Ive and his team to cut the fat from the the current iMac line and outfit a pair of new Core 2 Duo-based models in a form factor that will be both slimmer and sleeker than today's offerings. For Apple, the impending iMac makeover will represent the first major industrial design overhaul to hit its flagship all-in-one consumer desktop line in nearly three years. The last eye candy to accompany an iMac update came back in August of 2004, when the company retired its 'sunflower' iMac G4 design while introducing the portrait-style iMac G5."

Following the story, there has been lots of speculation over what features a "new" iMac would sport. A built-in TV tuner/DVR? Touchscreen capabilities? A black body or other color options? I'd love to hear what features/design elements you, dear readers, would like to see in the next iMac. Send your thoughts to daseller@earthlink.net with "NEW IMAC" as the subject. I'll be running some of your ideas next week.

Also, for those with illustrative or Photoshop capabilities, I'd love to see mockups of your design. Send 'em to the same email address. And when it comes to mind-blowing mockups of a futuristic iMac, see if you can beat this one.
