DEVONthink 2.9.13 improves decluttering service and Markdown...
DEVONtechnologies has updated all editions of DEVONthink and DEVONagent for the Mac. Version 2.9.13 enhances the decluttering service, rearranges a few menu commands for clarity, and improves importing bookmarks from Google Chrome and references from Bookends. The update also lets Markdown documents reference scripts with relative or absolute links and improves the overall reliability and performance, too. All editions of DEVONthink and DEVONagent require macOS10.9 or later. Apple posts new iOS 10.3.3 and macOS 10.12.6 betas
Apple has released the sixth iOS 10.3.3 beta and the sixth macOS 10.12.6 beta. They’re available in both developer and public betas. If you're not already signed up for the public beta program, you can do so at https://beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram/ . The public beta program is free, but remember: beta software is unfinished software so use with care. The developer version can be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center.

AirBeamTV now supports video file playback from Masc to Smart TVs

Screenshot Auto-Rename for macOS now lets you select a default...
The Software Hub (http://www.the-software-hub.com) has announced Screenshot Auto-Rename 1.3, an update to its screenshot capturing utility for macOS. It will name your screenshot according to the snapped window's name, or alternatively gives you the option to manually choose the destination folder and rename the screenshot before it is saved. If you don't want to save the screenshot, you can snap it directly to your clipboard. In version 1.3, users can now select their default folder. Graphic Inspector can now search images by bit depth
Zevrix Solutions has announced Graphic Inspector 2.3, a feature update to company's quality control solution for images and vector files. The utility is deigned to solve the problem of quickly finding files with specific resolution, color, spot channels, fonts and other attributes. The app can also search metadata, report image compression, and save search criteria in workflow specific presets. Apple announces donation plan for U.S. national parks
Apple has introduced new ways customers can enjoy and support America’s national parks next month. From July 1 through 15, Apple is donating $1 to the National Park Foundation for every purchase made with Apple Pay at any Apple Store, on apple.com or through the Apple Store app in the US. Hydra 4.1 brings new color grading for improved HDR results on...
Creaceed (http://www.creaceed.com/) has updated Hydra, a macOS tool for HDR image creation, to version 4.1. The upgrade features an improved tone mapper with a new color grading technique. Hydra is a software that gives human eye perception to photography by creating high dynamic range (HDR) images from a series of regular photographies. The software uses a number of regular photographs with different expositions (darker and lighter photos) to create one that’s closer to what one's eye can see. It provides128-bit image processing utilizing multi-core processors and accelerated graphics hardware. Apple’s first store in Taiwan opens Saturday
Apple Taipei 101 opens Saturday at 11 a.m., bringing Apple’s products, services and in-store experiences to customers in Taiwan for the first time. At the heart of every Apple Store is the drive to educate and inspire in a space where the community can come together to learn. Apple Taipei 101 will host new “Today at Apple” programs, including more than 60 free hands-on sessions designed for customers of all ages to take their creative skills to the next level around topics including photography and video, art and design, music, coding and more. Earlier this month Apple announced the location with a barricade of hand-cut fabric by Taiwanese artist Yang Shih-Yi that depicts the Banyan tree, a traditional meeting place. It offers batch processing, export as single pages, layer versioning, variable file names, and other productivity-enhancing features. Version 2 lets users run custom AppleScript and JavaScript scripts during processing, and adds an option to save output files in dynamically created subfolders. Pioneer and Onkyo U.S.A Corp. have announces a new “Smart Mute” feature for the Rayz and Rayz Plus Lightning earphones (www.pioneerrayz.com), along with new Rayz Plus colors - black and rose gold - which are available exclusively at Apple.com and at Apple Retail stores worldwide for $99.95 and $149.95, respectively. Note-taking app SnipNotes arrives on the Mac
Felix Lisczyk has introduced SnipNotes (https://www.snipnotes.de/) for macOS, which extends the existing iOS app. It combines a configurable clipboard manager with an intelligent note-taking app. Users can save any content from their clipboard, websites and more. SnipNotes categorizes notes automatically based on their content and provides a set of actions for each type. SnipNotes takes advantage of many Mac technologies such as Handoff and the new Touch Bar. It requires macOS 10.12 or later. SnipNotes 1.0 for macOS is on sale for $3.99 until July 9 and $8.99 afterwards. The app is available worldwide exclusively through the Mac App Store in the Productivity category.

Chronos announces six major app upgrades and a special offer

Eilert Janssen has announced Hej Stylus! 2.0 (https://hejstylus.com), an update to his macOS menubar application designed to make it easy for designers, illustrators and digital artists to configure and smooth out their stylus and graphics tablet output. The app acts as a control system for the user's graphic input.
