Typical iPad app to be port of an iPhone puzzle game

Pocket Gamer (http://www.pocketgamer.biz/r/PG.Biz/Apple+iPad/feature.asp?c=19302) has done a study on the apps coming to the iPhone. Puzzle games ported from the iPhone are the most prevalent.

Action and sports are the next most popular categories, although announced games are more along the lines of bowling, fishing and pool than football. Card and boards are another significant genre.

"When it comes to the breakdown of where announced iPad games are originating from, the vast majority are being ported from existing iPhone games," says "Pocket Gamer." "That's a sensible economic move, but 16 percent are new games, while 10% come from console licenses; something that's likely to grow if iPad is a success."

Apple's integrated hardware and software system make it the most valuable personal computer maker in the world, according to a research note from Deutsche Bank.

As reported by "Silicon Alley Insider" ("http://www.businessinsider.com/chart-of-the-day-revenue-vs-operating-profit-share-of-top-pc-vendors-2010-3), Deutsche Bank assembled the revenue and operating profits of the top ten computermakers in the world.
