Nano Enterprise Management is a small business management tool...

Indie developer Erziman Asaliyev has released Nano Enterprise Management for Mac OS X 3.3, an update to his management app designed exclusively for small businesses.

The tool lets you manage purchase orders, sales, suppliers, warehouses, and inventory without any special training. Version 3.3 adds new default values for specifications to goods, shipment and calculations, as well as minor bug fixes.

Clip Studio Paint now includes classic animation

Smith Micro Software has released a new version of its comic software, Manga Studio, which now includes frame-by-frame animation features and a rebrand to Clip Studio Paint. 

The new release — compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 and higher — enables digital artists to create classical animations from their designs using a sequence of drawings that flow automatically to create the illusion of movement.  Smith Micro is offering special pricing of $20 (55% off of retail) for the standard version, Clip Studio Paint Pro, through March 21. Ally Bank adds support for Apple Pay

Ally Bank, the direct banking subsidiary of Ally Financial, now offers customers with debit cards access to Apple Pay, Apple’s mobile payment service.

In participating stores, Apple Pay will work with the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and Apple Watch. Within apps, Apple Pay is compatible with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3. Once a customer has entered their Ally Bank debit card information on a device, they’ll be ready to make payments with Apple Pay at supported merchants, according to Diane Morais, CEO and president of Ally Bank.

To pay at checkout, users simply hold their mobile device near a contactless reader and authorize the payment using a passcode or Touch ID, and a subtle vibration and beep will confirm that the payment has been processed. Kaspersky Lab and WISeKey, a Swiss based cyber-security company, have teamed up for a special edition of the cyber-resilience app, WISeID Kaspersky Lab Security. This new edition integrates the technologies from both cyber-security companies.

EKG band for the Apple Watch coming this spring

AliveCor (www.alivecorcom), which specializes in FDA-cleared electrocardiogram (EKG) technology for mobile devices, has announced what it says is the first medical-grade EKG band for the Apple Watch, the Kardia Band.

Mac version of Origin Viewer app now available

OriginLab, a publisher of data analysis and graphing software, has debuted a Mac version of its Origin Viewer app.

OriginLab is most widely known for its Origin and OriginPro software, which provide scientists and engineers with tools to analyze, configure and present their latest research in publication-quality graphs. Previously only available for Windows, Origin Viewer is a standalone application that allows users to view and copy graph or worksheet information from Origin Project (OPJ) files, even if they don’t have Origin or OriginPro installed.

ADATA releases the i-Memory UE710 Rose Gold Apple OTGFlash Drive

ADATA Technology (www.adata.com) has launched the i-Memory UE710 Rose Gold Flash Drive. Designed to match the look of Apple devices such as iPhone 6s/6s plus, it joins previous i-Memory series offerings in catering to the storage expansion needs of mobile device users.

VPN Tracker for OS X now lets you remotely wipe VPN connections

Equinux has updated VPN Tracker (www.vpntracker.com), its VPN software for Mac OS X, to version 365. It’s now possible to remotely wipe VPN connections when, for instance, a MacBook gets lost or stolen.

Also, administrators gain total control over who may or may not use VPN connections. If an employee leaves the company, or a MacBook goes missing, administrators can prevent unauthorized VPN access by remotely deleting connections from these Macs. Dubset launches MixBANK clearance/distribution platform

Dubset Media Holdings has launched MixBANK, a clearance and distribution platform for mix and remix content. It will deliver high-demand remixes via Apple Music, creating a new royalty stream for the artists whose music was sampled and the DJs who create the remixes, says Dubset CEO Stephen White.

Until now, traditional music services were unable to offer unofficial remix content due to licensing challenges. Dubset has solved that by identifying the copyrighted music used within the mix and clearing the use of that music through the appropriate labels and publishers, says White.

BatchOutput PDF 2.2.19 improves duplex printing reliability

Zevrix Solutions has released BatchOutput PDF 2.2.19, a maintenance update to its PDF printing automation solution for OS X based on watched hot folders.

With BatchOutput PDF, users only need to drop PDFs into hot folders and the files will be printed automatically using the assigned output preset saving users the time and effort of printing the files manually. Troi Automatisering releases Troi File Plug-in 8.0.6 for...

Troi Automatisering (www.troi.com) has released Troi File Plug-in 8.0.6 for FileMaker Pro 14. It’s a maintenance update of the plug-in for manipulating external files and folders directly from FileMaker Pro.

The new version adds the possibility to change the timeout time for the CreateZIP function, which is useful for creating very large ZIP files. Version 8.0.6 also improves the working of several other functions and fixes a problem with the drag and drop function on OS X, where dragging multiple emails could crash FileMaker Pro.

Apple announces ‘let us loop you in’ special event

Apple has announced a special event for Monday, March 21, at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 21. Dubbed “Let us loop you in,” it will be held at the company’s campus at Infinite Loop in Cupertino.

Almost certain to be introduced at the event are a 4-inch “iPhone SE,” a 9.7-inch iPad Pro, and new band options for the Apple Watch. Some analysts are also expecting new MacBook Pros/Airs and the Apple Watch 2.
