VisualHub update adds over 20 new features

Drag and drop conversion from non-encrypted DVDs and VIDEO_TS folders is now possible, behaving just like any other file in VisualHub’s file queue. Taking advantage of TiVoGoBack technology, VisualHub can now turn the TiVo into a personal media center by creating videos that can be transferred and played like any other recorded show. Other new features include enhanced AutoCrop, easier conversion to PSP memory sticks, quick-access cheat codes, custom DVD titles and chapter settings, pause/resume capabilities, louder amplification and new output formats, such as 720p and 1080i HDTV, SVCD, and Transport Streams.

The US$23.32 app -- based on the "iSquint" conversion software for iPod -- is designed to bridge the gap between numerous complicated video formatting standards. VisualHub offers conversion from nearly every video format to iPod, PSP, DV, DVD, AVI, MP4, WMV, MPEG and Flash formats. It offers Xgrid support so you can use every Mac on your network for batch encoding.

QuickTime Pro or special plug-ins aren't required. DivX/XviD AVIs, all forms of MPEG video and other formats are supported. VisualHub's Advanced panel can be used to modify every aspect of encoding. The app offers a "Dynamic Preview" feature so you can see results before beginning an encode. You can stitch multiple files together to combine videos. Version 1.1 is a free update for registered users.
